It is important to understand what the facts are and to not rely on one source for those facts.
Case in point: Below I have an article written by Frosty Wooldridge stating that “According to Newsweek, March 28, 2005, over 10,000 MS-13 gang members illegally crossed our borders looking for a better life, too.”
However when you read the actual article it does not say that 10,000 MS-13 gang members crossed the borders illegally. What it says is “Composed of mostly Salvadorans and other Central Americans—many of them undocumented—the gang has a uniquely international profile, with an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 members in 33 states in the United States (out of more than 700,000 gang members overall)”
For Frosty, and others like him, it is more convenient for their position to claim that all members of this horrible gang are illegal. They actually want you to believe that every “illegal” immigrant is a violent criminal. As I’ve stated before it is strange to me that Frosty has traveled the world over yet is working so hard to keep Hispanics out of the United States.
In his article he continually refers to President Bush’s statement:
“They come here for a better life,” Bush repeats. “They do the work Americans won’t do.”
He does this to insinuate that “illegal” immigrants come to this country to rape and murder us all. This is simply untrue and is ridiculous. If we were to pick out the worst US citizens and proclaim that they represented the rest of us how would that make us look? I can think of some vile and nasty “legals”; I’m sure you can to.
Here’s the website that posted Frosty’s article. If you ask me it’s a little scary. News With Views
