Why, a recent letter writer asked, couldn’t Hispanics “settle for a few hours of radio time a week, as do the Polish, Italians, Celts, etc.,” implying that the region’s newest immigrants had somehow coerced the owners of WNAK into broadcasting exclusively in Spanish.
