Following are some facts on illegal immigration and efforts to secure the U.S. borders with Mexico and Canada.

* An estimated 11 million to 12 million undocumented immigrants live and work in the United States, roughly one in every 20 workers, according to a study by the Pew Hispanic Center based on government figures. (click link above to continue reading)

I like to call these “fun” facts – my favorite of which is the following:

* The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency has a growing fleet of Predator B unmanned surveillance drones. Three were in operation at the start of the year on the Mexico border, a fourth Predator drone is due to be deployed to Grand Forks, North Dakota, on the Canadian border, in 2008.

If this vehicle is a “Predator” drone then does that make migrants the “prey”?

  1. yah yah yah Milton smith

    we not gonna leave
    we staying together
    so shut the f*** up
    you ill sound more clever
    we dont hurt noone
    we just stay kool
    look what u wrote
    you sound like a fool!!!!

  2. “Invaders” Milton? Who are you talking about and who force fed you that description?

If you want to see an invasion look at Iraq. So that makes you the invader just as it does me – as U.S. citizens. Are we in Iraq because we can’t support our families or is Iraq basically a vacuum of wasted spending? Maybe that’s where all the money is going.

el chato – I don’t think that poem is going to change Milton’s mind.
