Submission and Control – Jon’s Dirty Hands: Pro-Migrant SanctuarySphere

Headlining today’s SanctuarySphere I’m including the various posts on Jon Justice and his rape-fantasy fondle of an Isabel Garcia effigy. Isabel Garcia is a pro-migrant human rights activist in Arizona and a public defendant. Jon is a run-of-the-mill scapegoating hate-for-profit radio host in Arizona. To learn more about Isabel and to learn of Jon’s heinous act read the following posts. Included are ways to support Isable and ask for Jon to be removed from the radio. (which wouldn’t be the first time apparently.)

A New Way to Look at Progress at DMI Blog.

The Human Development Index helps shed light on current urban dilemmas, including the problem of unequal progress among racial and ethnic groups. For example, Chicago’s 4th Congressional District, a primarily Latin American group of Chicago communities, ranks lower than the national average in all three areas, but particularly in education and income.

Also at Dream Act Texas read Texas Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s testimony on recent ICE raids in Houston and beyond in Congressional Hearing on ICE Raids, ICE raids Mexican restaurants in Cincinnati and A law ignored for decades is now labeling immigrants as criminals.

Today however, ICE and our present administration (who is behind all of this I believe) has decided that using a false number is a very bad thing – which is paradoxical since using a false number only leaves unclaimed money in the social security fund – Enforcing this law means social security will lose billions that will be needed to support all the aging baby boomers

A National Conference of State Legislatures report documents that “State legislatures continue tackling immigration in a variety of policy arenas at an unprecedented rate. So far this year, 1267 bills have been considered in 45 state legislatures and at least 175 laws and resolutions have been enacted in 39 states.
